raccoon trapping 101

There are more ways than one to catch a raccoon. Be mindful of the trap you choose. If you have pets or children, you can pick up a trap that will keep them safe but still catch a raccoon. Then you'll want to know where raccoons hang out and what they like to eat to ensure a quick capture. Some states have certain trapping seasons, so always check your local DNR website for dates. There are seasons that you can catch raccoons for fur and seasons that you must use live traps and relocate them.
